Lights Up at the Summit at Fritz Farm

  • Summit at Fritz Farm (map)

‘Tis the season to deck the halls and ring in the holidays with The Summit at Fritz Farm during the inaugural Lights Up celebration on Saturday, Dec. 2. Over the past several weeks, the development has undergone a transformation complete with antique sleds, disco balls, and even The North Pole to welcome in the holiday season. At 3 p.m., Santa will make a grand entrance by sky – though he won’t be guiding reindeer, the Lexington community is in for a sweet treat.

“Jon Carloftis and his talented team of design experts have reimagined The Summit at Fritz Farm into the most unique holiday development and we are anxiously awaiting Santa’s arrival,” said Stephanie Bork, marketing manager for The Summit at Fritz Farm. “The inaugural Lights Up celebration will be a one-of-a-kind event and we welcome the community to create new holiday traditions with our best-in-class retailers, restaurants and events.”

During Lights Up, guests will kick-off the holidays in true Summit-style with live holiday music, giveaways, and more to help ring in the holiday season. Santa’s arrival as well as meet and greet will begin at The North Pole, a custom-designed home featuring reclaimed wood created by Louis’ Flower Power Shop, who will also host The North Pole near its entrance throughout the month. Upon arrival, Santa will travel around the property hitting the hot spots, including The Green, The Barn, Whole Foods and Honeywood, where he will light the giant Christmas tree before returning home to Louis’ Flower Power Shop. Santa will be available for photos at The North Pole after his tour.

The day will be filled with seasonally inspired activations for all ages to relish. Between 4 and 6 p.m., cookies and hot cocoa will be served on The Green by Ted’s Montana Grill, adult beverages will be available.
